Black Panther

What a time to be alive! This movie means so much more to me than just entertainment. It’s something I’ve been holding my breath waiting for since childhood. It’s a beautiful dream finally realized. Sometimes you can have such high hopes for something that you’re let down by the outcome, but I can proudly say that isn’t the case with Black Panther. Ryan Coogler and company knocked it out of the park. To read my full review click here!
NOVELS
I started reading Marvel’s graphic novel Black Panther: A Nation Under our Feet written by Ta-Nehisi Coates and illustrated by Brian Stelfreeze. I didn’t grow up reading comics or having a real understanding of all the characters and storylines that exist out there. This seemed like a great time to jump in and Coates has made the decision worthwhile.

MUSIC
The Kendrick Lamar produced soundtrack is a gem and apparently many agree because it’s currently dominating the charts (much like the movie at the box office). Listen to it in full here.
My February was obviously all about Black Panther, but I want to know what interested you this month. Have any films or music suggestions for me? Let me know below!
