June Favorites

Little Fires Everywhere is set in an idyllic town named Shaker Heights and tells the story of two vastly different families whose lives slowly begin to merge. I haven’t finished reading yet, but it’s showing a lot of promise so far. Soon the novel will be adapted into a Hulu miniseries with Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon serving as executive producers. Once I’ve finished reading, I’ll be back with a better review. For now, you can click here to read an excerpt.

Notebook was definitely one of my faves this month. Read my spoiler-free review by clicking here. It’s currently streaming on Amazon and if you are a Prime member, you can watch it for free.

Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias stars in this Netflix original about a devoted teacher and the colorful faculty and students who make up his school. A little unconventional in his methods, Mr. Iglesias is really fun and probably the kind of teacher we all wish we’d had. Episodes are streaming now on Netflix.
